The Test: Trial by Wit (Raven-spirits lead the fledgling to Tamanend outside of city, where he began a new life as a Corax, and was eventually examined with quick decision-making tests in the Umbra with spirits helping to simulate a variety of scenarios)

Key Event #1: War (had already resigned police commission, instead became a private investigator, first in his home town, later in New York City, and he sharpened his beak by scoping out local gangland and feeding intel to the local Bone Gnawer werewolves, at a safe distance initially, but more trusting as time went on, especially given his edgy and combatative attitude that endeared him to Garou in general)
Key Event #2: Treachery (eventually, his gangland snooping led him to the Wyrm -- to corporate [Pentex] connections, and his intrusions earned him attention from First Team assassins [who thought they were clever by bringing silver bullets], which he led on a merry chase across the five boroughs, eventually into a rally of Sabbat vampires in the Bronx, which massacred the Pentex troops while he readied the Sun, and afterwards, he smoked out the vampires, too)
Key Event #3: Awe & Wonder (this clever act of valor earned him a place in the up and coming Mongoose's Paws "pack", and he gathered with the others in San Francisco, meeting all the other Fera involved, though his mouthy attitude didn't endear him to any of them)
Key Event #4: War (as the Mongoose's Paws raged across the world, fulfilling tasks and quests as the Silver Pack of the Garou might, he proved his [and his people's] worth as the best forward scout, which drew him closer to the group's undeclared leader, the Silent Strider representing the Garou, Cyrene Rez, and their relationship was like Yin to Yang)
Key Event #5: War (the ultimate quest to nail down the legacy of the Mongoose's Paws project was to defeat the Maeljin Incarna of Hate himself, the Duke of Steel; in the ensuing raid on Malfeas itself, Ravin stayed brave and useful through the two month-long campaign that inflicted heavy casualties on the proud group, and in the end, he was ordered to flee by Cyrene herself while she and Hokni [the Gurahl] held off Steel's demon forces before the Maeljin could be properly finished off)
Key Event #6: Personal Tragedy (Ravin reluctantly joined the other survivors in their escape back to Gaia, but felt ashamed and would largely avoid them all for next 15 years; he returned to PI work, but his heart wasn't in it, he rarely took real jobs, and while he continued to snoop out Wyrm-tainted enemies across the Atlantic corridor and dodge their vengeance, he began to burn out and lose hope)
Transition: Shift in Nature (a plea from Anaba called him to meet with the other Mongoose's Paws survivors in San Francisco and discuss the future, including possibly bringing the team back together, and in the process of waiting for the pieces to fall into place, he and Anaba hit it off)
